An-Naas
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ (1) مَلِكِ النَّاسِ (2)
إِلَهِ النَّاسِ (3) مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ (4) الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ
فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ (5) مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ
Surah An Nas translation
1. Say: "I am of refuge in the Lord
(which maintains and controls) humans.
2. Kings.
3. Gods humans.
4. Than evil (whisper) the devil would hide,
5. Were whispers (evil) into the hearts of
Mankind,
6. Than (group) jinn and humans.

The noble reader , may Allah Subhanahu
wata'ala pour His mercy to us all ,
Shaytan ! ! ! Who among us who have never
heard of this word . Too many people are mired in immorality valley and
immersed in syhawat because of him . Spreaders " poison " in all the
joints of human life . An occupant drags man into Naar . Increasingly visible
appearance makes his moves freely . Allah Subhanahu wata'ala says ( the
meaning) :
" Indeed Shaytan and his followers see
you from where you can not see them . " ( Al- A'raf : 27 )
Shaytan is the source of all evil that exists,
the designer of all treason , mashing all the toxins , anxiety exhale into
careful man , resemble ugly acts as a good deed . So most people fall for the
treason and poison .
But we should not be hasty to say ' O wretched
ye Shaytan ' , even Shaytan getting bigger as the size of the house. But read
basmalah ( bismillah ) Shaytan undoubtedly get smaller like flies . ( Narrated
by Abu Dawood, no. 4330 )
Is not Allah Subhanahu wata'ala has given
antidote to " poison " posed by the Shaytan . Allah Subhanahu
wata'ala says ( the meaning) :
" And We send down of the Qur'an as a
being and a mercy to those who believe " . ( Al-Isra ' : 82 )
And it is not Allah Subhanahu wata'ala down a
disease except Allah Subhanahu wata'ala has provided the antidote . One of
these bidders was a letter An Naas , one of the letters contained in the Qur'an
and is located at the end or the end of it as well , including short letters
are there in the Qur'an .
At the time of this study , we will invite the
reader to examine the virtues of Surat an- Naas and what is contained therein .
The virtue of the letter An Naas
This letter is a letter belonged Makkan ( down
before moving ) in the opinion of the scholars in the field of interpretation ,
including ash-Shafi'i and Ibn Kathir Ash Shaikh Abdurrahman As Sa'dy .
Surat an Naas is one of Al Mu'awwidzataini .
Ie two letters containing the petition of protection , which is the only surah
Al Falaq . Both of these letters has a high position among the other letters .
Messenger of Allaah alaihi wasallam said :
أنزل أو أنزلت علي آيات لم ير مثلهن قط المعوذتين
" It has been handed down to me verses
are not such as to him that Al Mu'awwidataini ( Surat an- Naas and Surat al
Falaq ) . " (Muslim no. 814 , At Tirmidhi no. 2827 , An Naasa'i no. 944 )
After the fall of two letters , the Messenger
of Allaah alaihi wasallam replenish both as reading ( wird ) to shield from
view the ugly jinn and humans . ( Narrated by At Tirmidhi no. , 1984, from the
Companions of Abu Sa'eed radhiallahu ' anhu )
But when called Al Mu'awwidzat , then the
question is this letter and two letters of Al Ikhlash . Al Mu'awwidzat , one
reading wird / dhikr disunnahkan to be read after the prayer . Sahabahs ' Uqbah
bin ' Amir brought hadith of the Messenger of Allaah alaihi wasallam , that he
is Allaah ' alaihi wasallam said :
اقرأوا المعوذات في دبر كل صلاة
"Read Al Mu'awwidzat on every after
prayer . " ( Narrated by Abu Dawood, no. 1523, dishahihkan by Ash Ash
Shaykh Al-Albani in Shahihah no. 1514 )
Al Mu'awwidzat also used wird / dhikr in the
morning and evening . Anyone who read it three times at a time when the morning
and evening , Allah Subhanahu will wata'ala insufficiency of everything . (
Narrated by Abu Dawood, no. 4419 , An Naasaa'i no. 5333 , and At Tirmidhi no.
3399 )
Similarly Al Mu'awwidztat disunnahkan read
before bed . The trick , the third reading of this letter and then blow on his
palms , then rubbed into the head , face and so on to the rest of the body , as
many as three times . ( Narrated by al -Bukhari 4630 )
Al Muawwidzat can also be used as reading '
ruqyah ' ( Islamic style treatment by reading the verses of the Qur'an ) .
Toward the end of the life of the Messenger of Allaah alaihi wasallam , he was
ill . He is concerned with himself by reading Al Muawwidzat , when the pain
gets worse , then Aisha reciting ruqyah with the Muawwidzat al .
( Narrated by Al- Bukhari no. 4085 and Muslim
no. 2195 )
Tafsir Surat An Naas
قل أعوذ برب الناس
" Say ( O Muhammad ) : " I seek
refuge with the Lord of mankind. "
ملك الناس
" King of man . "
إله الناس
" Human gods . "
A tarbiyah divine , God commanded His Prophet
Khalil him at once to seek refuge only in Him . Because He is the Rabb ( ie as
a creator , regulator , and the giver of good luck ) , Al Malik ( owner of
everything that exists in nature ) , and Al- Ilah ( the only One who has the
right diibadahi ) . With three properties Allah Subhanahu wata'ala this , God
commanded the Prophet Muhammad Subhanahu wata'ala Allaah alaihi wasallam to
seek refuge only in Him , from the ugliness of anxiety that exhaled Shaytan .
An education Rabbani , that all the creatures
of Allah Subhanahu wata'ala are weak servants , will need His help Subhanahu
wata'ala . Including the Prophet of Allaah alaihi wasallam , he was a human
being who would need His help . So he is a servant should not be worshiped ,
not a place to ask for help and protection , and not depend on. Because it
includes acts ghuluw ( extreme ) , position the Prophet of Allaah ' alaihi
wasallam is not the proper place . Even he Allaah alaihi wasallam prohibiting
of acts like it . He is Allaah ' alaihi wasallam bersada :
لا تطروني كما أطرت النصارى ابن مريم إنما أنا عبد , فقولوا عبد الله ورسوله
"Do not do me as Nassara ghuluw have done
ghuluw to Ibn Maryam . I am only a slave , so say Abdullah ( servant of God )
and His Messenger " . ( Agreed upon )
But he Allaah 'alaihi wasallam was a prophet
and messenger must be obeyed and imitated .
من شر الوسواس الخناس
" From the crime ( whisper ) Shaytan
usual hiding . "
Al meaning whisper of anxiety is truly hidden
and vague , while the al khannas is backwards . So what about the intent of
this paragraph ?
That is , that Shaytan always blow promptings
misleading people when men neglect of dhikr of Allah Subhanahu wata'ala . As
His word ( the meaning) :
"Those who turn away from the teaching of
the Lord Most Gracious ( Al- Qur'an ) , we held him the devil ( which is
misleading ) . Then the devil that is the friend that always accompanies it.
" ( Az Zukhruf : 36 )
As for when a servant dhikr of Allah Subhanahu
wata'ala , then Shaytan is khannas is ' back' of the act to mislead people . As
in His word ( the meaning) :
" Surely the devil has no power over
those who believe and sole trust to his Lord . " ( An -Nahl : 99 )
The answer is corroborated by Al Imam Ibn
Kathir in his commentary in the book when making the interpretation of Sa'eed
ibn Jubayr and Ibn ' Abbas , namely : " Shaytan entrenched in the hearts
of men , if he neglect or forget the Shaytan breathed her misgivings , and when
he remembers Allah Subhanahu wata'ala then Shaytan away from it .
الذي يوسوس في صدور الناس
" Who whispers ( evil ) into the hearts
of men. "
This is the mission of Shaytan who always
strives blow to human anxiety . Adorn sleaze so beautiful and attractive . Pack
the truth with bad packaging . So as if vanity it seems right and proper that
looked vanity .
Just look , how sweet seduction Shaytan
disseminated to the Prophet Adam and his wife . Allah Subhanahu wata'ala
profiled in His word ( the meaning) :
" Then Satan whispered evil thoughts to
both of them for what appeared to both of them that covered her nakedness , and
the devil said : " your Lord does not forbid you to approach this tree ,
but so that you two do not become angels or become the eternal ( in al jannah /
heaven ) " . ( Al- A'raf : 20 )
Similarly note , the story of when the
Messenger of Allaah alaihi wasallam was beri'tikaf . Bintu Huyay Safia ( his
wife one of Allaah alaihi wasallam ) visited her at night . After talking a
while, then the Messenger of Allaah alaihi wasallam drove him back to his
residence . However, his second trip seen by two Al Ansar . Shaytan then
breathed into the hearts of both feelings of anxiety ( suspicious ) . Messenger
of Allaah alaihi wasallam saw the signs that are less than both . Therefore the
Messenger of Allaah alaihi wasallam immediately after him , as he said :
على رسلكما , إنها صفية بنت حيي فقالا : سبحان الله يارسول الله . فقال : إن الشيطان يجري من ابن آدم مجرى الدم , وإني خشيت أن يقذف في قلوبكماشيئا , أوشرا .
" Calm down you two , he was Safia Bintu
Huyay . They both said : " Glory to Allah , O Messenger of Allah . Then the
Prophet said : "Verily, Shaytan flows in the body of the sons of Adam
according to blood flow , and I'm worried something is blown to you or badness
. " (Muslim no. 2175)
Thus the nature of Shaytan always breathes
evil whisperings into the human heart . Moreover, Allah Subhanahu wata'ala with
all his wisdom has created a ' companion ' ( from among the jinn ) for every
man , even the Messenger of Allaah alaihi wasallam also a companion .
Sebagimana his saying of Allaah ' alaihi wasallam :
ما منكم من أحد إلا قد وكل به قرينه من الجن , قالوا : وإياك يارسول الله ? قال : وإياي , إلا أن الله أعانني عليه فأسلم , فلا يأمرني إلابخير .
" It is not any one of you unless given a
companion from among the jinn , then the Companions said : Does it include you
O Messenger of Allah ? Messenger of Allaah alaihi wasallam replied : Yes , it's
just that God had helped him , because he had converted to Islam , then he is
not ordered to me but goodness " . (Narrated by Muslim . 2814 )
من الجنة و الناس
" From the ( class of ) the jinn and
mankind . "
From this verse it is clear that the conduct
whisper into the man 's chest not only from the class of jinn , humans can even
act as Shaytan . This is also confirmed in another verse (which means ) :
" And thus did We make for every prophet
an enemy , the devil - devil ( of sorts) and the human ( and types ) jinn ,
some of them whispered to others sayings beautiful splendor to deceive ( men )
" ( Al- An `am : 112 )
Then one way out of the temptations of Shaytan
whisper and both among the jinn and mankind is as Allah Subhanahu wata'ala (
meaning ) : " And if Shaytan bothering with a disorder , then seek refuge
in Allah . " ( Fushshilat : 36 )

Then it is appropriate for us always begging
for help and protection only to Allah Subhanahu wata'ala alone . Recognize that
all beings are in fact under the control and authority of His Subhanahu
wata'ala . All of these events occur by His will Subhanahu wata'ala . And
nothing can give help and refused harm except by His will Subhanahu wata'ala
anyway .May Allah Subhanahu wata'ala makes us as His servants are always asking
for help , protection and mengikhlaskan entire worship only Him .
